SACA Food Shelfs’ Capital Campaign

Naming Opportunities and Donor Recognition Wall listings are a tangible way for SACA Food Shelf to recognize the generosity of corporations, businesses, family members, and friends. Whether establishing a legacy with a naming opportunity, making a gift in honor or in memory of someone special, SACA had the right opportunity for everyone to be a part of their new home.

For SACA’s Capital Campaign, the majority of the project will rely on public funding and set a goal of raising $200,000 in private funding for the quiet phase of the fundraising campaign. In a little under 6 months, we were able to raise $500,000 from cultivated individual donors, civic groups and businesses with the informative Capital Campaign brochure (8.5” x 11” bi-fold).

SACA Food Shelf & Thrift Store Brochure

When I started volunteering at SACA in 2012, their marketing consisted of a tri-fold brochure created in Word and raster logo. Over the last 9 years, I have built a brand that showcases who SACA is as an organization and represents the significant impact they have on clients and donors.

Mandy Meisner : Political Campaign

When Mandy Meisner ran for Anoka County Commissioner in 2018, she asked that I create her visual marketing material for her campaign. Understanding that she wanted to go beyond the typical politician brand, we started with the logo and brand colors. From there, I created the stationary and several campaign mailers for the primary and general election. Her campaign branding was consistent with who she was and was recognized throughout Southern Anoka County.

Display Arts

When I started in 2014, Display Arts had no true brand. Marketing documents and the website were not cohesive. Overtime, as I learned more about the business and our core capabilities, I started to build a brand using the logo as inspiration. I leaned on the playful brand colors of maroon and orange to ground the designs and keep the brand cohesive.

Hops for Hunger

Hops for Hunger is SACA Food Shelf and Thrift Store’s largest annual fundraising event, which has raised over 1.75 million pounds of food. Each year, I create a new typographic poster from the event details that is used throughout all marketing pieces. This includes printed event signage, t-shirts and social media.
